Decorator Show House & Charity Events...

On Oct 26th 2010 Jane Fonda, artist Radcliffe Bailey, other celebrities and artists came out for IKEA’s 3rd Annual It's About Time art auction and cocktail party which benefits GCAPP's Second Chance Home.  The event, which is as spectacular as it is unique, auctioned 100 clocks and other timepieces that were transformed into amazing works of art by celebrities and artists. 

All designs were inspired by the concept of time and created with clocks provided by IKEA (artists also had the option of using any clock or timepiece of their choice). This year they enlisted Matt Arnett as the It's About Time curator, and clocks were donated by Sidney Poitier, Ruby Dee, Queen Latifah, Tyler Perry, Hans Frabel and local artists.  My donation, "Me Time", was created from a canvas which I converted into a functioning clock.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the event, but a photo of my donation was featured on Jane Fonda's blog.
